Tree Frog Massage Therapy was  first located on the outskirts of Fall River in Nova Scotia, Canada. It is now located in the Inverness area, Scotland, where it is now known as Tree Frog Therapy to better incorporate modalities in addition to Massage Therapy. Tree Frog Therapy offers Bowen Therapy and Massage Therapy from a home-based clinic room in Maryburgh and the Inverness Centre for Complementary Therapies. (see schedule page for more details). Deborah is also able to provide a mobile service to offer Bowen and Massage Therapy in your own home (Dingwall / Muir of Ord / Beauly and surrounding areas) – call to discuss further.

Tree Frog Therapy aims to work with you to enable your body to recover, maintain health and function optimally. Each client will be assessed, and an individually designed treatment programme will be put in place. Treatments may focus on a specific area, but often the problems are due to imbalances elsewhere in the body. Our philosophy is to work at a depth and pace that will allow the body to adjust and move towards optimum function. Treatments may include fascial release, normalisation of muscle tone, and restoration of postural balances using Massage and Bowen Techniques. Each treatment will be adjusted in approach, pressure, and pace dependent on the needs and preferences of the client, and the responses of their body, to ensure effectiveness and safety of the treatment.

Initial treatment sessions should be a minimum of 60 minutes – to allow for review of your Health History & Consent, assessment, and a preliminary treatment massage. You are encouraged to download the Health History & Consent forms ahead of your appointment to complete at home, or arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time to complete it.TF1

Subsequent treatment lengths will be discussed when planning your treatment. 30 minute appointments may be sufficient for more specific treatment. 60 minute treatments will allow a broader approach and are likely to be necessary when addressing issues over multiple body areas.

A 90 minute Body Balancing Massage is designed to incorporate back, legs (front and back), neck, shoulders, arms and head. Abdominal massage can also be incorporated.
